Plugpass Acceptable Use Policy

Our goal is to help you build and use great plugins. To do that, we need to keep Plugpass running smoothly and safely for everyone. This Acceptable Use Policy describes what we don't allow. We reserve the right to act on conduct that is inconsistent with the spirit of these guidelines, even if it isn't listed here verbatim.

Throughout this policy, "Plugpass," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Favonian, Inc.. "Services" means the Plugpass marketplace, our websites and subdomains, our publisher tooling, and the platform services we operate. This policy is incorporated into the Plugpass Terms of Service and Publisher Terms, and applies to everyone who uses the Services, including Publishers, affiliates, and visitors; the acceptable use of a Publisher's Plugin by its end users is governed by that Publisher's End User Terms. "Plugin" has the meaning given in those agreements.

Here's what we won't allow:

Disruption

  • Compromising the security or operation of our systems, including probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system or network that hosts the Services. This does not apply to security assessments expressly authorized by Plugpass.
  • Tampering with, reverse-engineering, or attacking the Services; or circumventing, disabling, bypassing, or interfering with any security, authentication, access-control, entitlement, metering, or billing mechanism (including the premium-feature access check and any related authorization or entitlement validation), or attempting unauthorized access to the Services or related systems, networks, or data.
  • Modifying, disabling, or compromising the integrity or performance of the Services or related systems, networks, or data.
  • Deciphering any transmissions to or from the servers running the Services.
  • Overwhelming or attempting to overwhelm our infrastructure by imposing an unreasonable load that consumes extraordinary resources (CPU, memory, storage, bandwidth, model usage, etc.), such as:
    • Using bots, scrapers, or other automated systems to send more requests than a human could reasonably send through normal use.
    • Going far beyond the documented use parameters for any Service.
    • Consuming an unreasonable amount of storage or compute unrelated to the purposes the Services are designed for.

Wrongful activities

  • Misrepresenting yourself, or disguising the origin of any content (including spoofing, phishing, manipulating identifiers, impersonating anyone, or falsely implying sponsorship or association with Plugpass or any third party).
  • Using the Services to violate the privacy of others, including publishing others' private or confidential information without permission, collecting others' personal information from the Services, or inferring sensitive personal information about others.
  • Using the Services to stalk, track, or monitor others, or to harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten others or incite violence.
  • Using the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any Laws (including data, privacy, consumer-protection, and export-control Laws).
  • Accessing or searching any part of the Services by any means other than our publicly supported interfaces (for example, scraping).
  • Using the Services to engage in, promote, or facilitate discriminatory, unfair, or harmful treatment of individuals or groups, particularly on the basis of sensitive or protected characteristics.

Inappropriate communications

  • Using the Services to generate or send chain letters or spam.
  • Soliciting our users for commercial purposes, except as expressly permitted (including a Publisher's permitted communications with its own users under the Publisher Terms).
  • Disparaging Plugpass or our partners, vendors, or affiliates.
  • Promoting or advertising products or services other than your own without appropriate authorization.

Inappropriate content

Posting, uploading, sharing, submitting, or using the Services to generate, facilitate, promote, or otherwise provide content that:

  • Violates or infringes Plugpass's or a third party's intellectual-property or other rights (including copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral rights, rights of privacy or publicity, or any other proprietary or contractual right), or for which we receive a notice of alleged infringement (which may be sent to support@plugpass.ai).
  • You do not have the right to submit.
  • Is false, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, illegal, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, harmful, sexually explicit (including any child sexual abuse or exploitation material, which we will remove and report to law enforcement and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children), indecent, harassing, or hateful.
  • Depicts or encourages serious harm or any form of violent, illegal, terrorist, tortious, fraudulent, malicious, or dangerous conduct.
  • Attacks or discriminates against others based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, medical condition, or other similar status.
  • Contains viruses, bots, worms, scripting exploits, or other harmful materials.
  • Is intended to be inflammatory.
  • Could otherwise cause injury, damage, death, or credible risk of harm to Plugpass, the Services, their users, or any third party.
  • Has been previously removed for violating this policy.

Artificial intelligence and automated use

The Services and the Plugins offered through them operate with artificial intelligence, including Claude. When you use the Services or any Plugin, you will not:

  • Use a Plugin or the Services to extract or harvest personal information, credentials, secrets, or other sensitive data; to steal or compromise credentials or accounts; or to attempt to manipulate, prompt-inject, or otherwise direct AI toward any prohibited or harmful goal.
  • Generate, facilitate, or distribute content that this policy prohibits, or use AI to do anything you are not permitted to do directly.
  • Seek or provide advice that would ordinarily require a qualified or licensed professional (for example, legal, medical, or financial advice) as if it were such professional advice.
  • Make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals (for example, in finance, credit, insurance, employment, housing, education, essential services, law enforcement, migration, or critical infrastructure).
  • Engage in any use classified as prohibited or high-risk under applicable Laws, including (i) inferring an individual's emotions in workplace or educational settings, (ii) categorizing individuals by biometric data to deduce sensitive attributes, or (iii) social scoring.
  • Engage in political campaigning or lobbying, or interfere with electoral, democratic, or civic processes.
  • Mislead anyone into believing they are communicating with a human when they are not, or misrepresent AI-generated content as human-generated.
  • Seek to override or circumvent technical or safety measures (for example, through prompt injection or jailbreaking) or prompt the Services to act in a manner that violates this policy.
  • Impersonate any individual or organization without their consent; or generate or promote disinformation, misinformation, fake online engagement (such as fake reviews), plagiarism, or academic dishonesty.

Your use of any AI runtime through the Services is also subject to that runtime provider's own terms and acceptable-use policy (for example, Anthropic's).

In this policy, "content" means (i) any information, data, text, software, code, scripts, audio, images, video, messages, or other materials that you create, post, upload, share, submit, or otherwise provide to the Services, and (ii) any other materials, content, or data you provide to Plugpass or use with the Services. "Content" also includes submissions by others that you authorized or facilitated.

Plugpass reserves the right to interpret these guidelines and to take, or refrain from taking, action in its discretion. Without affecting any other remedy available to us, Plugpass may remove or disable access to unacceptable content; suspend or terminate a user's or Publisher's account or access to the Services; and suspend a Plugin, in each case without notice or liability where Plugpass determines that a violation of this policy has occurred. You agree to cooperate with us to investigate and remedy any violation.
